
Chaunjon’a Verdun-Jennings is a Master’s level Counseling Intern at Recco S Richardson Consulting. She provides supportive, client-centered services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She is currently completing her graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Spring Arbor University. The program has a strong focus on evidence-based interventions, diagnostic formulation, and culturally responsive care.
Chaunjon’a is passionate about creating a safe, compassionate environment in which clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, life transitions, family systems, and strengths-based approaches. She integrates modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies to meet clients where they are and support meaningful growth.
In her work with youth and families, Chaunjon’a prioritizes collaboration, emotional safety, and practical skill-building. She believes in honoring each client’s voice and helping them develop tools that promote resilience and self-confidence.
